Hypnosis can be an effective aid to children and adults being treated by a physician for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD, formerly Attention Deficit Disorder, ADD). ADHD is presented as a condition, which seems “stuck,” but it is actually a set of behaviors. Although these behaviors are powerfully driven by emotion ( so they are not voluntary or easily changed by “discipline”), behaviors can be changed at an emotional level.
